After School Activities - Sheppey QARAT - Queenborough and Rushenden Action Together Do you live in Queenborough or Rushenden? Are you aged 10 or above? MEND The MEND (Mind, Exercise, Nutrition, Do it!) programme is a FREE lifestyle course for children aged between 7 and 13 years and their families and has been running in Swale since September 2007. We have great opportunities for children and families to join us on the September 2008 programme running in Sheerness. On the programme, families will be involved in activities based on food and nutrition e.g. Who wants to be a healthionnarie, food label reading, and the children will play games at every session. The children even go swimming once a week FREE! The programme is for children who are overweight but their brothers or sisters are welcome to come too and an adult or carer must be there too!
