There are a number of help lines and venues to contact for advice and support on a range of issues. If you have found an advice line or website that helped you, please let us know by contacting us at boredinswale@swale.gov.uk.

                               ChildLine                                                                                           

ChildLine is a free 24 hour help line for children and young people in the UK. Children and young people can call the help line on 0800 1111 about any problem at any time. For more information, please click here.


                                            Connexions                               

Connexions is a nationwide service, offering confidential support, advice and information via telephone, email or web chat, for anyone aged 13-19. You can find information about various topics, such as learning, careers, health and relationships. For more information, click here.

Kent Choices 4 U

Kent Choices for you is a brand new website for young people in Kent aged 14 to 19, and provides information about courses, qualifications and training opportunities. To find out more, please click here!


Swale Carers Centre

Young Carers Support Service provides support, recognition and respite activities for all young carers registered with the service.

Young Carers are children and young people aged five to eighteen years old who take on the responsibility of caring for someone at home be affected by long term illness, disability, drug or alcohol misuse or mental issues.

Young Carers meet during term time only. Every Tuesday between 5-7pm meetings are held at The Healthy Living Centre, Sheerness, and every Thursday meetings are held between 4.15pm-6.15pm at New House Youth Centre in Sittingbourne.
